Extender in Action

Hold your cursor over each image to view more information about it. If you wish to see any image at full size this can be done by clicking on it.

1. During startup if you do not have wired connection to a Media Center PC established the wireless network selection screen will appear. 2. After selecting a network you will be prompted to enter the WEP or WPA key for the network if it is secured. 3. Provided the MCX has been setup on the PC correctly you should now see the familiar Media Center start page.

4. Music being played back from my library stored on the host Media Center PC. 5. Highlights the importance of using 802.11a/g for TV playback, in this picture there is not enough bandwidth for the content. As well as the 'Network Congestion' alert in the top right, the video will be skipping at this point. 6. Freeview PAL Recording viewed via an extender device.

7. Recorded TV view appears the same as it does on the host system. 8. Media Center Online Spotlight site viewed through the extender. 9. Windows Messenger Login prompt for the extender. Once signed in Messenger behavior is the same as in MCE on the host.
